We are seeking a highly technical Sales Manager capable of selling advanced ion beam specialty products — including ion implanters, residual gas analysis (RGA) systems, TOF‑RGA instruments, beamline components, and precision ion beam optics — to research institutes, semiconductor manufacturers, and high‑tech industrial customers.
This role combines technical sales, customer relationship management, and market development, requiring strong understanding of charged‑particle beam systems and vacuum technology.
We offer the following tasks
- Building and maintaining close relationships with our existing customers
- Acquiring new customers in the fields of research institutes, semiconductor manufacturers, and high-tech industry
- Working closely with our R&D department to ensure that customer requirements are met by our product solutions
- Calculating prices based on technical information from the R&D department
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Monitoring industry developments, new technologies, and legal changes
- Creating sales forecasts, budgets, and reports
- Representing the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events
- Assisting in the development of a KPI tool
- Travelling is required
How we envision our new team member
- Successfully completed degree in physics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields
- Relevant professional experience, ideally from a technology-driven or research-oriented environment, thematic knowledge of charged particle beam systems and vacuum technology
- Sales experience for technically demanding and complex products
- Strong presentation and analytical skills
- Hands-on mentality with a strong customer focus
- Software knowledge and experience in using common tools and platforms
- Language skills: German C2, English at least C1, Vietnamese would be an advantage
